Huh!

  1. Ha! Some of the coast near us is like that, Dar. Erosion is eating away at the cliffs. Some roads just come to a sudden end with a long drop down to the beach.

    1. The coast is fine where this photo is taken. I think the sign is because the hand-railing is missing. The thing is, if you don't use the stairs you have to climb over the rocks, and that's a lot more dangerous than climbing stairs without a handrail.

  2. At first glance It looked like Allison was wading and I was wo deri g how she did not get wet , ! Lol
I can see the beach and the tree on closer look . I like the solitary feel of the closed sign blocking acess to the huge ocean.

  3. Deb, reading yours and Mikes comment makes me wonder if we are seeing the same things? Is the photo too dark or blurry? here, I can see alot of detail, ... and there are no trees....???..

Actually though, I think you hit the nail on the head why I was photographing the stair closed sign in the first place. The big ocean, and then just a little set of steps blocked off saying access is closed. Thanks :)

These are old photos, getting my creative juices flowing again.
